i remember replaying this song in 2016 constantly while sitting on the curb outside of swim practice. ugh. so raw and hot take but i prefer this to the MCR version. i feel like the piano and the BRIDGE is soooo powerful. tyler’s voice is just so much smoother and melancholic. i love the beat drop. ascending.

since regional at best isn’t on here this is my relisten review for it. god i feel sick with nostalgia. you just had to be there for this era. i’m so glad i’m not this sad anymore though. favorite tracks: glowing eyes, lovely, forest, anathema

such a great conclusion for a decade-long story. love how they've been able to keep their sound simultaneously so familiar and so new over the years. city walls is insanely hype and downstairs is a religious experience (the key change... tyler joseph you genius)
