“michael salvatori is the GOAT of motifs, and deep stone lullaby single handedly made me fall in love with Destiny 2 while i played it. not something i’d spin up for listening but i’ve heard all of these in passing somehow or another having played this campaign. music makes all the difference”

“Look Within is such a magical track because, by that point in the raid, the guardians' mission was completely done and they had no reason to eliminate a shattered Taniks that likely wouldn't last long on its own, yet they engaged in the duel regardless. Taniks presented a challenge and the guardians met it despite no official order from their vanguard (keep in mind this was before they just ignored orders, they'd only really done it for Cayde's revenge at this point.) The track perfectly captures that aura and creates a raid boss environment unlike any other. Even if the mechanics can be a little lackluster, it absolutely succeeds in aura.”
